Half-Hearted

Image
Do you find yourself dragging through your life? It is important emotionally to commit to walking out your days not only in a spirit of love but with your whole heart. There is a tendency to give just enough to say you have done what is required. This might work with people for a while, but God knows the difference. It is not enough to just go through the motions in life. Commitment and action is required. Every area of life shows forth the proof of what is truly important to you. There is a time when your prayers are answered without reason or rhyme. A time where hope springs anew and shadows depart from you. Where with clasped hands in submission or hands lifted high with praise. NOTHING stays the same. This too will pass and only God and His word remains. The same yesterday, and today, and forever. There is a time... ~Debbie From my poetry journal "Letting Go of Cockatoo Dreams" © 2010 Debbie Turner Chavers Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
