Half-Hearted

Do you find yourself dragging through your life? It is important emotionally to commit to walking out your days not only in a spirit of love but with your whole heart. There is a tendency to give just enough to say you have done what is required. This might work with people for a while, but God knows the difference.
It is not enough to just go through the motions in life.
Commitment and action is required.

Every area of life shows forth the proof of what is truly important to you. From your personal relationships to your work ethic. Most people will give heed where the money hits their understanding, but many relationships are left to flounder because of a willful lack of effort.
Half-hearted.
Today I am encouraging you to prayerfully consider the different areas of your life.
To take a fine tooth comb to the knots in your relationships. To work through the areas from within and without that so easily entangle us and hinder our progress to walking in love with one another.

Mark 12:33
And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love [his] neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.

*Update-added January 2016 : I have painted another Art Parable titled  1/2 Hearted Obedience, which you can view by clicking on the title of the painting.
