Mark 10:1 And he arose from thence, and cometh into the coasts of Judae by the farther side of Jordan, and the people resort into him again, and, as he was wont, he taught them again.
As I read this verse this morning, I noted..."as he was wont" or in other words " as was his habit.
We all have habits. Things we do habitually.
One of the wonderful things about reading God's word is that it allows you to have Selah moments.
The opportunity to pause and consider your life, thoughts and manner in the light of His word. Word association is an attention grabber. More than likely when you read the word " habits" you mentally identified one of your own. Wonderful. So pause and consider. Does "the Habit" bring refreshment?
Here is my Selah Reflection for today from today's Proverb in the NIV bible.
Pride only breeds quarrels,
but wisdom is found in those who take advice.
