Prayer

In John 17, the KJV the chapter subheadings are broken into 3 parts:
1)  Jesus' prayer for himself
2)  Jesus' prayer for His disciples
3)  Jesus' prayer for believers

I see a circle of reciprocals.  Jesus modeled The Father and we model Jesus Christ.  Jesus manifested God's name to the men God gave him.  Jesus gave us the words which God gave Him.
God's word (logos) (rhema) is living word. As we pray His word, Living- alive word, there is a reciprocal that happens.  As He is, so are we.

Praying The Word of God is a seed planted in the eternal.  In the natural world when you plant a living seed in soil or moisture you receive what you planted.  **As conditions are favorable, the seed buds and comes forth.
** Spiritually, praying the Word brings a harvest, because God honors His Word and the Word will not come back without result.

Isaiah 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Today is the day. Daily we are given the opportunity to focus on the goodness of the LORD.  As God's elect there is a need to be diligent and focused.  We must not live our lives carelessly without thought of who we are and what we have become through the shed blood redemption that Jesus Christ gave for our eternal life.
And so we begin. We awake, and there He is. As we slept, He watched over us.  God's tender care is always present to provide, His eyes are ever watchful and He delights in hearing from His Children.
God never tires of my dependence upon Him.  He rejoices in my need of Him and your need of Him.
Everyday life and the myriad of actions and thoughts can scatter the best intentions, but prayer refocuses the mental buckshot into true aim.  So as we pray we may start scattered, but He gathers.
At times when we pray we pray with good intentions but God watches over His Word and makes it a God Intention.
So today, as His child don't wonder what to pray.  Pray.

Psalm 19:14  Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

Matthew 21: 22  And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
