Shout Out to Encouragers

So daily I seek encouragement to live and walk in peace and with a good attitude. My go to is ALWAYS the word of God contained in scripture.  There are so many resources available and so many gifted individuals that share encouragement with others.  So I am bringing your attention to a few that encouraged me today. Holy Scripture - my favorite version is KJV.  Love to read Proverbs daily. I try to note which verse for that day..speaks to my heart-grabs my attention..and pay attention to it! My favorite Proverb verse this morning: Proverbs 23:12 Apply thine heart unto instruction, and thine ears to the words of knowledge. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Joyce Meyer ..Hearing From God Each Morning-365 Daily Devotions-  favorite encouragement from October 23 We need to work with the Holy Spirit to discover what our unique, customized destiny is, and then do everything we can to fulfill it. You Are Well Able

Recently I watched a broadcast of a group of young children making colorful hand prints on a wall for the "Hand of Hope" missions outreach of Joyce Meyer ministries. The children were making perfect little multi-colored hand prints.  But the one that drew my attention was the little blue one that was smeared on the wall. I don't know if this child knows her Heavenly Father yet, but her effort has already left a beautiful image with me. You may not think your life counts or that you are making a difference in the kingdom.  But this small, imperfect attempt at leaving a mark, resonated with me. Your every day life with its possible triumphs and mistakes are impacting someone. Don't give up.  God can and will use your "smeared hand print." In life we put our hands too many things, at times successfully and som...

A Life Redemption

Good Morning, I read an amazing encouragement this morning from Joyce Meyer in "100 ways to simplify your life". I pulled out the gist of the message that refreshed me from pages 61-62. "Condemnation is a feeling of guilt and shame that presses you down. Jesus comes to lift us up, not press us down. It is the devil who wants to press us down and keep us there. He brings condemnation, but Jesus offers forgiveness and restoration. The devil offers complexity and confusion; Jesus offers simplicity in  its purest form.  Every time we sin, the Holy Spirit convicts us but the devil tries to denounce and condemn us.  We need to know the difference. Conviction is for the purpose of leading us to admit our sin and repent.  Condemnation only makes us feel guilty and actually weakens us and keeps us in a cycle of sin.  We must decide not to accept condemnation." -Joyce Meyer ----------------------------------------- I am reminded that Go...
