Everything

Genesis Chapter 1-2, And God Said, Let There Be © 2004 Debbie Turner Chavers Most people do not realize their importance in day to day living.  Therefore a spirit of excellence is diminished by a lack of knowledge.  We need to see ourselves and our daily walk in this world as important. I want to remind you and encourage you to post this somewhere where it becomes settled in your heart and mind. "Remember everything you do today is important and makes an eternal difference." ~Debbie Turner Chavers You are so loved and were born for such a time as this.  God does not make mistakes.  His ways are perfect and planned.  You were part of His plan.  Psalm 139 Everything done or not done has eternal consequences.  If you keep this in mind as you do your daily life you will begin to see the smallest things that connect to a life well lived. Example...dirty dishes.  Dirty dishes can be a sign that there was nourishment provided and eaten. ...

Unique, Amazing You!

Has anyone told you lately that you are unique? You are. You are amazingly unique. God had and has a wonderful plan for you. As life happens, we tend to forget the beauty and uniqueness that is ours alone.  Forget self worship, this is about acknowledging the mastery of God's creation represented in you.  Even our fingerprints are unique to us.  Identical twins do not have the same finger print.  The unique beauty of each person has been created by God as individual as our fingerprints. Psalm 139 recalls God's beautiful creation and His mindfulness in creating unique you. Read this psalm in God's word and remember how much He loves you. He knows you.  He wants you. Imperfect, unique, amazing YOU. In verse 6 it states "Such knowledge is too wonderful for me".  There are so many scriptures that remind you of His thoughts of you.  Indeed, we have always been on His mind. We are loved and cherished by God. 1 John 4:10 Herein is love, not that w...

You are a Masterpiece-Wonderfully and Fearfully Made

Lately, I have been listening to the preaching of Joseph Prince.  His ministry sends daily devotional encouragements.  I like to encourage others in their life and their walk with God.  So one of the things I do in my own life is to seek encouragement from God, His word, and the encouragement given by others in these areas.  I really like how Joseph broke apart the different designations of gifting in today's encouragement. I am enclosing a link below to read it for yourself. This particular encouragement reminded me of Psalm 139.  For indeed God has designed each of us in particular.  There is no detail about us that was overlooked.  For we are fearfully and wonderfully made.  God fashioned each of us as His wondrous masterpiece.  I pray that we will see ourselves as His masterpiece and reflect His bestowed goodness toward one another.  Today, lift up your eyes and look unto Him, He is well able to meet your every need.  You ...

NOT Forgotten

Have you ever felt forgotten? Well, God has not forgotten you. Regardless, of the situation you find yourself in, you are remembered. As you go about your everyday life, it is important to remind yourself that you are not forgotten. Regardless, of your view of yourself. In Psalm 139, the Lord reminds you that before you were formed that He knew you. If you have ever nursed a child, you know how impossible it is to forget a child. Your bosom has to be emptied! You will stop whatever you are doing to relieve the pressure. In Isaiah the Lord reminds you that He has that same care for you. Maybe at times it feels as though you go unnoticed or that you are working endlessly. Take heart. Your effort is noted and appreciated. You are not forgotten. Slowly read and chew on the scriptures below and insert your name. Really consider that God , the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end is telling YOU and Me that He will not forget us. WOW! Thank you God :) ~Debbie Isaiah 49:15 Can a woman f...

A Blessing

I just reread a book yesterday. Its title is "The Creative Call" by Janice Elsheimer. It is a great book to refresh your artistic vision. We are all artists. You may not know your artistic bent yet....but it is in there. This book helps you discover your hidden and not so hidden creative side. In Psalm 139 the Lord tells us we are fearfully and wonderfully made. So YOU are a work of art made by our creator. Read the King James version below and consider His great love for YOU. Psalm 139 O LORD, thou hast searched me, and known me. Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether. Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it. Whither shall I go from thy s...
