The Love of Money Is The Root of All Evil © 2010 Debbie Turner Chavers I love the heart of John the apostle, but I relate to Peter the apostle on a gut/personality level. Peter appears to have been a sincere, dedicated, boisterous man. On most days I am exuberant with a love of life and people. There are times when I can easily imagine myself, like John leaning on Jesus' breast, so assured, that I am the "Beloved" one. I am amazed at my own "feelings" as I think along these lines of thought. Yet, I am aware that without a close eye toward my Shepherd and His instructions, I can easily be overcome with my feelings, not the scripture facts. I can relate in areas of my life with each disciple described in God's Word. Yet I never want to relate to Judas Iscariot in action or thought!
