National Day of Prayer-TODAY and Everyday
God loves us very much and desires for us to walk in His blessing and protective covenant.
Today is a declared National Day of Prayer, but as a people and as a nation, God declares TODAY if you will hear His voice do not harden your hearts.
*Hebrews 3:7-13
Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice,
Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:
When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years
Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in [their] heart; and they have not known my ways.
So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.)
Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
*Deuteronomy 18:10-14
There shall not be found among you [any one] that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, [or] that useth divination, [or] an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch
Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.
For all that do these things [are] an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.
Thou shalt be perfect with the LORD thy God.
For these nations, which thou shalt possess, hearkened unto observers of times, and unto diviners: but as for thee, the LORD thy God hath not suffered thee so [to do].
With so much confusion that exists amongst Christians on the subject of horoscopes, tarot cards, etc... I wanted to post an excerpt from a book I am reading right now titled ---

Christians in covenant with God are also forbidden to consult witches, sorcerers, and those operating through familiar spirits ( Deut. 18:10-12). This includes consulting astrologers who believe your life cycles are patterned after the position of your star charts. Your life is not directed by the stars but by the Creator! The reason God forbids contract with familiar spirits is a simple one --the adversary is a liar and the father of lies (John 8:44). Any prediction made by a familiar spirit involves sorrow, death, suffering and trouble. Jesus came to give you life and life more abundantly (John 10:10)
The Holy Spirit can show you things to come, and His revelation will always be accurate and always point you to Christ. (John 16:13)
